Whoof whoof … buongiorno a tutti!
Some time passed since my last post … guys, I was just that busy to enjoy all the freetime together with my bipeds – as today during our great morningwalk!
As you can see on the photos, there is no real winter atmosphere in Calabria – we rather enjoy a great sunshine and a temperature of 20°C and more! BUT: At 5:00pm it is already dark and when the sun sets it is getting quiet fresh. That’s why we light up a fire in our fireplace in the evening and this is the time when you can feel something like the spirit of Christmas!
Yesterday, when I was chilling next to the fireplace (I love to heat my paws!!) I was thinking about Christmas and about the wishlist I have to send to Santa Claus!
There are so many things like nice collars, leashes, toys … but at the end I decided that I only have three wishes:
You see, I am really modest! I think all quadruped have to be treated by their humans during Christmas time … we cannot eat all the cookies and sweets, but the following recipe is healthy and it will make your dog freak out, trust me!
It is really easy and fast … start boiling 150g of potatoes. Meanwhile you dice the 50g of bacon and some parsley. When the potatoes are soft boiled you peel them, mash them and put them in a blender together with the bacon and the parsley. Blend for some minutes and then mix the dough with 100g of flour and 15g of dry yeast until smooth – I prefer half all purpose flour and half spelt flour.
Looks delicious, doesn’t it?! Have a nice Advent time and enjoy yourself with these yummy potato-bacon-balls!
